BOARD OF PRESENTERS AND AWARDS

The Manhattan Architect’s Forum is independent of Leicht New York. The Forum’s Board of Presenters independently and exclusively determine which firms are invited to meetings, as well as which firms are sighted for awards for their work. Board of Presenter members are prominent NYC architects with a wide knowledge of the NYC architecture scene.

INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

Presenters for Forum meetings are selected directly by the Board of Presenters. Architecture/design firms can apply to be presenters by emailing information about their work and professional practice. (See: Contact)

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

At the end of each calendar year scholarship awards will be granted in the name of five architecture/design firms that will be specially honored for their work, or other contributions to the design professions in NYC.

BOARD OF PRESENTERS MEMBERS

Eric K. Daniels- Principal Architect of Eric K.Daniels Architect, PC. Based in mid-town Manhattan, ekdnyc was founded in 2001 providing architectural and interior design services for private homes and apartment renovations, commercial interiors, rooftop gardens & additions, restaurants & cafes and religious spaces in New York City and beyond. Currently a full-time Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Interior Design Department at FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology. Previously taught at Pratt Institute Graduate School of Interior Design and Parsons School of Interior Design.

Breanna Carlson- Principal Designer of bSTUDIO Architectural Design, LLC. Based in Brooklyn, bSTUDIO Architectural Design was founded in 2006 providing a range of design services including lighting, furniture, interiors and architectural projects. Currently Adjunct Assistant Professor of Interior Design at FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology. Previously taught at Parsons School of Constructed Environments in NYC, Aarhus School of Furniture Design in Denmark, International Institute of Architecture in Switzerland, and Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles.

Raymond Olive- Principle Designer of Liv-Lab Liv-Lab is a multi-disciplinary design build agency focused on the exploration of the human condition. Raymond has been challenging norms and creating work that lives in a domain between art, design, and social advocacy. Currently based in NC, he teaches design at the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham. He has strong roots in NYC where he taught at The New York School of Interior Design.
